Cafferty File

Jack Cafferty sounds off on the stories crossing his radar. Write in to answer Jack's hourly questions, and watch to see if he reads your response.

4 p.m.: What does it mean if Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel is a tougher critic of the Bush administration than many Democrats?

5 p.m.: What does it mean that President Bush is using taxpayer money to fund a private army in Iraq without the knowledge of the American people?

7 p.m.: Is it possible to train politicians not to say stupid things ever?

1. Jack, put it in perspective before asking such a stupid question.

It's not that he's more outspoken - it's that he's a REPUBLICAN and is breaking ranks with his boys. He gets a lot of attention for it.

The Democrats are going to let Hagel Divide the Republican Party even more, furthur Isolating Pro-War Rethugs.

Meanwhile they can focus on their domestic agenda, until the time is right to push getting out of Iraq with enough Rethuglican votes trying to save their ass.

3. my email
News corporations like CNN are selective in the news they broadcast.Democrats have always been vocal war critics.I ask you to review any of the speeches of Kerry,Murtha,Feingold,Waters...the list goes on.Hagel makes news because he is the first Republican to stray from the flock.Give equal time to our other vocal critics-you'll be surprised.
