Bush comes off like a holier-than-thou Richie Rich

And us middle-class baby boomers of the same age & generation are particularly offended by that, I think.
It's just that I have been wondering why the hell I find him so despicable, aside from all the blood on his hands...

3. If * didn't have the legacy education, the money, and expensive suits,
he'd be the grubbiest bully at the local bar. You know...the one who trips old ladies and snickers about it. The one who picks on little kids and people with disabilities. Then he slaps his drinking buds around and they let him because they are too scared of his tantrums to stand up to him.

You give him too much credit. He's an adolescent bullyboy.

4. Reminds me of a great line .....

"He was born on third base but he's so dumb he actually thinks he hit a triple."

I'd give credit where credit is due for that one but I have no idea where it came from.

5. Give credit to the late Ann Richards

She actually said it about the first President Bush.

Edited to add:
I've also seen the quote attributed to Jim Hightower.
And apparently Molly Ivins said it about GWB.
