CONFIRMED:Lieutenant Governor Lee Fisher is Going To Win The Ohio US Senate Primary!
Edited on Tue May-04-10 09:47 PM by Corey_Baker08
... per my local news reporting with 60% of precints reporting:
http://www.whiotv.com/politics/feature.html

Lt Gov Lee Fisher-244346 votes-55%
SOS Jennifer Brunner-196759 votes-45%

I proudly voted for SOS Jennifer Brunner yet I will support whomever the Democratic Candidate is which most likely will be Lee Fisher. This is a very important race for not only this state but this country as well. I urge all of my fellow DU'ers to watch and contribute as much as humanly possible in the general election campaign to our candidate.

As a Buckeye I see this as a very unique and important opportunity for the Democratic Party to pick up a US Senate Seat. Recently Ohio has been turning blue like in the 2006 Governors & US Senate Race to the 2008 Presidential Election in which for the first time in my lifetime the state of Ohio turned Blue voting in support of President Obama.

Ohio U.S. Senate Candidate for the Democratic Party: Lee Fisher www.fisherforohio.com

5. Sadly, it's the DLC'er
Jennifer Brunner was the actual Democrat in the race. Apparently the Fisher/Prickland/DLC smear campaign against her worked :evilfrown:

6. His attempts at State office have been - well
Not everything ya might have hoped for...

He was an unsuccessful candidate for Governor of Ohio in 1998 and 2006.

9. The party elites made damn sure of that.
Jennifer was good enough to be Secretary of State, but not good enough to be supported by Menendez. He as much as threatened her.

That stuff has happened way too often. It has happened to friends of ours here in Florida by the party big wigs.

It is their way or the highway.
