So what happens if I run across a birther cop in Arizona?
He doesn't believe President Obama's birth certificate is real.

Whats the chances of him believing mine is?

Especially after he brings me in and checks the internet and finds out I donated money to the Obama campaign.

Any ideas on this one?

Don

2. Never hike the canyon?
No drug can get you as high as when you step off the rim!

5. I always wanted to, I've never been there actually.
But at this point I'm certain that I never will, unless they repeal this thing.

3. I wondering if the new law will be used like the Taser™
We've seen cops Taser™ diabetics in comas, grandmothers, kids, and double amputees. I'm wondering if we'll see this "produce your papers" mentality used indiscriminately like the Taser™ is used.

I know there will be racial profiling, but, as a middle-aged white guy, I'm wondering if it'll get to the point where, if the cop doesn't like the way I'm looking at him, he'll just ask me for my papers and when I can't produce them, he'll haul me to jail.

Maybe he'll Taser™ me first, then haul me away(?)

4. So is there a fine for not producing your papers?
Do they write you a ticket (presumably you DO have a current driver's license) or do they arrest you and impound your vehicle and property?

Does the law make the arresting party free from litigation in the event that they have acted inappropriately or otherwise cause you financial or physical harm?

I say if you can afford to do sit in jail for a couple of days, go the full monte and then file a federal lawsuit claiming your constitutional civil rights as a U.S. citizen were willfully infringed upon by the state.

It will happen, sooner or later. Arizona just hasn't thought through any consequence in their myopic kneejerk legislation, and consequence inevitably happens.

6. Tell him you'll show him yours if he shows you his!
Then, if he does, tell him his doesn't look very authentic to you and according to the law you are required to report what to you, looks like a crime in progress, someone who to you, doesn't like a lawful resident or an American!
