"Pro-Life" Movement: The Contraceptive Pill is "Demonic Deception"
Yep, the birth control pill is demonic, and is responsible for all the ills in our society.

In case any of you still had any lingering thoughts that the "pro-life" movement was really about protecting lives instead of controlling sex, here's the link straight from from the horse's ass:

4. Of course. Outlawing contraception is part of the agenda, always has been.
Basically, they want to make it a crime to fuck for non-procreative purposes.

5. Orphanages
Are these people prepared to spend their tax dollars to go back to those times? Do they seriously think all these unwanted babies/children will ever be adopted? Believe me, it won't be just the unmarried having unwanted children. Remember, Griswold struck down a law which prevented MARRIED couples from using contraceptives. Make babies for the Fatherland. Well, maybe not if you were poor.

My husband's grandfather and his brother were put in an orphanage when they were 8 and 10 years old because their parents (married) could not afford, and had too many medical problems, to take care of them. Both boys were put in different places and neither was ever adopted. Both parents died when they were teenagers. When they got out at the age of 18, they spent years trying to find each other.

This is very much a Catholic mindset; no contraceptives AT ALL. You are all right. Sex is to make babies and that is it.

13. According to the scriptures...
At one time God murdered everyone on earth, save Noah and his family. Later, he destroyed entire cities, which I'm sure had plenty of babies and children among their populace. Let us not forget the killing of Egypt's firstborn. Of course, the entire Old Testament reads like a bloodbath, with Jehovah directing the action, at times ordering his chosen ones to utterly destroy their enemies, which included the slaughter of their women, children and livestock.

These Leviticus Christians are pretty selective when it comes to interpreting the Bible and which of God's laws they choose to enforce.

20. ...and PUNISHING his stormtroops when the genocide is less thn complete! Dawkins says it best:
The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthristy ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully."

I personally consider that assessment to be correct, and if you don't like it, tough shit, FOESADIAF.

This is certainly not prolife.

21. Before modern medicine, I'd have been a statistic too
After my first child, I contracted a nasty case of Puerperal Fever, with my second, there was neonatal jaundice, and with my third I had premature separation of the placenta (involving severe bleeding and premature birth) and placental clostridium infection.

Some of us just weren't meant to bear children, unfortunately, although I am thankful for the two (30-something) kids I do have now.

22. Yep. Pregnancy is certainly about women's health. The neocons in Canada
put women's health on the agenda at the G8 or G20 summit in Ontario this year to garner more support from women in Canada who don't trust them and have stopped the conservatives from getting the majority they so covet. BUT THEN THEY DIDN'T INCLUDE REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS IN THAT......the idiots.

I mean, seriously. I'll be sure to inform my gynecologist of this when I visit her next. She's probably a satan-worshipper too, considering she wears a Health Care for All button.

Jackasses.

16. Not controlling sex - controlling women
There's never been much push for controlling sex when it comes to men. This is all about fear of women's sexuality and women actually having control over it.

It's misogyny and it always astounds me that so many who trumpet its ideology can't see that.

Trust me, men are definitely on the table as far as who is subject to their desires for social control.
