How Come Ensign is still a Senator? Where's the 24/7 media
dissecting every aspect of his life like they do Dems?

So where is the media? I know I hear them telling us over and over again
how Dems that they are gonna lose in 2010.....
but why aren't those same folks all on this Ensign story?
Why the hands off in reference to this story?

Perhaps instead of paying so much attention to what Sarah Palin is saying,
and commenting on those things, we should be writing to the media
asking them why Tiger Woods and John Edwards get the "beat it till it's dead" media treatment,
while Ensign gets a mention once every couple of weeks if that.

What is it that we can do about this apparently unequal treatment?

6. Repubs have no shame. They never resign after being exposed, they just stay
and stay i.e. Craig, Vitter, Sanford, Gingrich, on and on. Pathetic.

7. Conservatives shun Ensign
http://www.rgj.com/article/20100419/NEWS/4190329/1232/news19
<snip>
Some Nevada conservatives want Republican U.S. Sen. John Ensign to resign amid a federal investigation stemming from an extramarital affair, with one critic calling him "the political equivalent of a suicide bomber."

Republicans believe that Ensign's troubles are a colossal distraction in the high-profile effort to oust U.S. Senate Majority Leader Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.

Chuck Muth, the former executive director of the Nevada Republican Party, called Ensign "an albatross around the necks of every Nevada Republican candidate on the ballot this year" and likened him to a political "suicide bomber."

The discord among GOP loyalists bubbled to the surface last week and follows grand jury subpoenas issued to a Republican campaign committee and companies in Nevada about Ensign's role in seeking work for the husband of his former mistress. The Senate Ethics Committee also is investigating.

The scandal has marked a stunning fall for a politician who was once a rising conservative star with White House aspirations.
