Images (from photos) that are shaping the World
Edited on Tue Apr-13-10 03:33 PM by truedelphi
The talk here by Jonathan Klein is illustrated with those photographs that have, and are, changing the world.

In a big way, I regret having to promote Klein - like one of the recent commentators on the blog mentions, it is Getty Image and the stock photos that Getty promotes that are reducing the paychecks of so many fine photographers.

But these still remain powerful photos, whether they are showing us our tiny globe as viewed from Space, or scaring us with the imagery of Abu Gharib.

1. Thank you so much!!!
That was an exceptional presentation of powerful images. I love photography for the emotion that they evoke which can be good or bad but never stagnate. Thanks...really enjoyed it. The only thing is that I had almost been able to put the picture of that young woman lying on that grave out of my head...but it just will not go away.
