I don't remember the media being as obsessed with Michael Jordan
as they are with Tiger Woods for cheating on his wife. Can somebody refresh my memory on whether Michael Jordan's adultery was a top news story?

6. It wasn't as big a deal.
On the other hand, it appears Mr. Jordan had a LITTLE more scruples about where and with whom he chose to lay. Also, if memory serves, Jordan's career was near the end at the time; this did not happen when Jordan was winning all those championships but when he was a Washington Bullet (or were they Wizards by then?). That makes a difference when it comes to how the media reacts.

8. Completely different circumstances if you ask me. And I'm no Jordan apologist.
Jordan, his inner circle and the league all did a very good job of keeping it all under wraps while he was an active player, and after he retired no one seemed to care.

His extramarital indiscretions were a trickle, and with Tiger they were a flood.

Jordan never had a "car crash" moment where everything came out in the open all at once.

And this is from someone who believes he was secretly suspended for gambling for the period he was playing baseball.
