too many districts would have to swap hands. But what happens in November when all the Tea-baggers wake up and find out they've lost again?

I mean - I'm listening to McCain now and he's claiming that Congress does not have the support of the majority of the American people.

2. Teabaggers are unwilling to admit that they can lose.
Hence the hysteria and violence following HCR.

5. What happened to the Weathermen during the Nixon years?
That's pretty much your answer, right there. Eventually the losses pile up and depression sets in and they lose interest.

Remember, the Teabaggers are largely old dudes, retired and bitter about a world that doesn't want them any more. They're going to get tired even faster than the Weathermen and other revolutionary groups did because they don't have youth on their side.

Depressed leftist revolutionaries simply chose smaller battles and hunkered down for 40 years, learning how to survive. Unfortunately for the baggers, all they have left is anger that will eventually turn inward into depression.

It's hard not to feel a little sorry for some of them, knowing where they're coming from and where they're headed. Of course, I just wish they'd shut off their Pox News and AM radios and learn how to cope with the world as it is. They're not going to do that, of course. I don't see a very happy ending for any of them and I feel sorry for people who work in nursing homes who will have to deal with all their rage.

6. GOP won't do as well as they hope, or pray, but...
we will have a new majority leader in the US Senate. Reid has been toast for quite a long time, and there is no one to save him.

7. the 'Baggers will take votes from the GOP side, both will lose -
GOP will probably lose a few more seats. I believe there will be some craziness, but not what they like to think - Hey, It's cold in November and most will just stay home and grumble, and act like real assholes when the grandkids stop in for Thanksgiving....

They will pretty much fade away, but I hope they will really fuck up the GOP before they go.

8. They won't lose seats.
They'll gain several, but not enough to take control of anything. Getting Democratic votes out in a midterm can be difficult, so we're bound to lose some.

The Teabaggers will obediently line up and vote for the Rs whether they're wingnuts or not.

if Democrats actually campaign instead of giving up to GOP bullshit.
The republicans provide more reason for Democrats to vote every day....

10. Still best not to get too complacent
Gaining seats, or at least holding them, can't hurt, and I remember an election up here where the governing party lost 167 of their 169 seats in Parliament. Not that that's likely at all down there, but sometimes reversals sneak up on people.

I doubt that we will lose a single net seat.

12. The day President Obama took office, the Main $tream Media has been saying we will lose the House
The M$M has been repeating the fabrication that Democrats are going to face serious repercussions and be voted out of office in November. They have repeated the lie until even hard core progressives are saying it.

Just because the M$M has a desire to influence the outcome of the mid term elections does not make it a fact. The truth is we still have the same support in the voting public that we had in 2008, and it will show in the only poll that really matters. That poll will be at the ballot box in November
