1. The President and the First Lady ought to jet down there and drop in
for a little shopping.

Might be kind of fun.

2. Been a few threads about this already
Terrible that it happened but I don't blame Wal-Mart (although I'm certainly no fan of their business practices). It seems to be unknown as to whether this was an employee or customer. This store seems to have taken steps to issue an apology

4. Personally I don't care if
it was an employee or a customer. And Walmart apologizing for the incident is the least that they can do. If there is a problem with customers using the phones connected to the pa system then maybe Walmart should have a code that the workers would dial in to take you to the pa system or move the phone behind the counter where only employees are allowed.

5. Yep, this is how I see it also. Most likely a prank by either an irate employee, or a silly ...
customer.

6.  I don't think this is very funny
with jobs so hard to get I hate to see a person fired. But this person if they are an employee should be fired. If it is a customer, steps should be taken to hold them accountable.

3. I was in a Walmart Store and witnessed a crude announcement once.
Walmart has telephones all throughout their stores, that give the public access to make a store wide page. I find this ridiculous. Although what I heard was not as horrible as this. I was in a Walmart store in Harrisburg PA one evening around 11:30 and an announcement was made " I have a large penis". I looked at the cashier and bagger and the bagger just said " He has been doing it all night". I said " Why doesn't the manager do something. She told me that didn't know who it was, that it is a customer using one of the store phones. When I got home I immediately sent an email to Walmart's corporate headquarters. I never received a response back. I even followed it up with a written letter and never received anything back from that either. As long as they get our money they do not seem to care what we have to put up with in their stores.

7. I find that amazing, that a company as security conscious as Wal-Mart
and has such a tight control over things would allow this...pretty stupid on their part.

9. The report on
the radio stated that Walmart was going to review store security camera to see if they can tell who did it. And to find out if it was an employee.
