What happened to google's cached pages?

I just noticed they're gone. Anyone know what happened? Did I break the google?

1. Nope, they're still there, under the individual results--at least MY Google works!

3. Cache works on a web search, but not a "news" search.

I got mixed up about that once before. Maybe that is what you are doing.

4. Perhaps you mean duplicates, in google news? I notice a new format tonight.

They have added a new sort, to leave out or include duplicates.

"Sorted by relevance Sort by date Sort by date with duplicates included"

5. No, I mean cached pages; they're just gone here and it's frustrating

I frequently use that to help searching for specific terms on pages, because normally the terms of a search will be highlighted in different colors on a cached page. But for some reason they are all gone for me, and apparently just me :( And I haven't touched preferences or done anything that I know of. Freaky.

6. You're not the only one. I tend to look up stuff I wrote or was

written about me in the press. When I did this search in December there were at least ten pages of stuff going back to 1997. A few weeks back the same exact search came back with less than one page.
