The Washington "Moonie" Times doesn't even pretend anymore.
On the day that an assistant Secretary of State in the Bush administration resigned his position after it came to light that he was a regular visitor to a local steam and cream, the Times decided the story was not newsworthy. The alleged "newspaper" did, however, find room for a snarkily written front page story on the impending nuptials between a gay Episcopalian bishop and his partner. Two other stories deemed newsworthy on the same day ran on page A 3. One was headlined "Study finds lesbians prone to obesity". The other trumpeted a call by Republican asshat Duncan Hunter for Harry Reid to resign as Majority Leader. Got it? A repuke actually DOES resign - no story. A Dem is asked to resign by a partisan fuckwit - now that's news!

2. Did they ever pretend?
I've had a running habit for a while, just for kicks I compare the headlines on the Moonie Times with those of every other paper on the stands. You can easily tell where Rush and his legion of freepwads get their "information".
