1. As I remember that is what the Republicans were
saying a few years ago when they were threatening the Nuclear Option all we want is an "up or down vote".

to the "democratic" party to the incorrect "democrat" party instead.

Your correct, the "up or down vote" terminology should be used instead of using the "reconciliation" term!
