when I saw your subject line. They think that Rachel is the liberal version of Beck because they refuse to believe that Beck just makes things up, whereas Rachel uses actual facts. The fact that they believe there is a comparison to be made between the two just scares me.

not Rachel Maddow compared to Glenn Beck but how the right wing views us the same way we view them but in an opposite way. It's like in Star Wars episode 3 when Obi Wan is fighting Anakin/Darth Vader and there's a break in the fighting and Obi Wan says "Anakin, Chancellor Palpatine is evil!" to which Anakin responds "From my point of view the Jedi are evil!".

How do you get them to see they are in the wrong, that they are insane when they believe that of you except in the opposite light? It's difficult to describe but I know what you mean.

I heard Rush 2 or 3 times in the early 90s. I heard Beck this summer because a colleague had him on frequently near my work area. I've never listened to Maddow. Because I don't listen to talk shows. When I want someone's opinion, I ask.
