The reason we need leadership from someone who answers to grassroots liberals...

...is because we have had leadership from people who have answered to grassroots conservatives and/or corporate interests for the last 30 years.

Obama has made a severe error in picking people who are loyal to the Washington establishment, and by negotiating so much with conservatives who want all for themselves and none for others.

He himself said, "Change doesn't come FROM Washington, change comes TO Washington!" Well, if he really believes that, then why is he so intent on using Washington insiders? That is, people who are dedicated to upholding the status quo?

Obama has done what he set out to do --

That's reflected in those he has appointed and those he continues to

tolerate around him giving him advice --

Evidently Kissinger is also advising the administration!!!

He's a typical politician, that's why. He talks about change, then upholds the status quo. :(
