President Obama, Pick Up the Phone and Call Arkansas Tonight.
Edited on Tue Feb-02-10 09:25 PM by David Zephyr
President Obama, it's time to send Rahm Emanuel back to Illinois. He clearly hurt your historic Presidency your first year in office and he has continually given you bad advice. Rahm somehow made his perceived "enemies" within the Democratic Party into your enemies. Rahm is too petty for that big office of yours.

For all of Rahm's own false legend-building of how he knew how Congress worked, the results are evident now: Mr. President, he delivered to you an empty platter on health care reform and gave you rotten advice for 12 months.

Now Rahm has embarrassed himself and your Administration with his crude use of the loathsome and cruel term "retarded", something not in our language anymore and certainly, unworthy of your high office. Add to that his now infamous addiction to vulgar language and one has to ask: why is he still there at your side? Mr. President, you are a better man than this. Just ask Michelle.

President Obama, you deserve a better Chief of Staff. You need someone who knows how to execute orders, who knows how to "make it happen" and who, can do all of that and still be a true team player. You need someone at your side who won't seek his or her own glory and who would serve you and our nation with honor. His name is General Wesley Clark.

President Obama, pick up the phone and call Wes Clark tonight and ask him to serve his country one more time as your Chief of Staff.

1. Obama himself had to apologize for a 'special olympics' comment.
That being said, I would love to see the General serve in this administration in some way.

I would still like to see him replace Gates eventually.
