A little tax tip
I almost jipped myself of $400 due to not realizing we had to file for Obama's making work pay credit. It is line 40 on the 1040A form and goes with a schedule M (included in the 1040A packet). You must fill out that form even though we got a substantial amount back via lower witholding. Happy filing.

2. Just out of curiousity...
Was the form referenced in the instruction, but not included in the packet?

I wonder how many people left that one on the table?

3. It was there
I had just kind of assumed that I already got that money accounted for. I can easily see it happening. I usually don't qualify for any credit and just zero through that section which is what I did this time. I only found this out when I tried out turbo tax. Had I got through the instructions line by line I would have caught it.

7. I am gong to do the paper since turbo would have charged
