Heard Newt Gingrich on NPR yesterday about campaign finance reform...
Newt was very pleased about the new ruling on campaign finance reform that allows corporate entities to spend as much as they like to alter the political process.

Newt kept saying that it now allows the middle class to "have a voice in the process" to compete against wealthy interests.

But he never would say explicitly what that voice sounds like.

What went unsaid is that ALREADY congress responds to MONEY more than votes.

Of course he's also wrong that this would somehow allow the middle class to compete against the money voice of mega corps.

As the follow-on fellow said, If corporations spent just 1% of their profits they would outspend what entire presidential campaigns spend.

1. This is the right wing spin that it's a good thing
It will be good for them.

It will just be bad for the country, democracy and everyone else.

3. Newt is not stupid. He's lying.
"Giving the middle class a voice" is how the MSM will spin this decision. This statement was just a heads-up.
