At a press conference yesterday Our Commander in Chief disclosed our troop locations to the world. Can you BELIEVE this??? Where is the MSM wall-to-wall coverage? Now all the enemy has to do is drop bombs on those locations. Good God!!! Get that IDIOT out of office!!!

6. C'mon! You don't think this is done as a result of stupidity, do you?
They want to have our troops attacked to justify why even more troops are needed in this region. This Alice In Wonderland logic is beyond exasperating. This is treason. This is beneath contempt.

7. This is silly. The Iraqis know where our troops are. They live there
And the Iraqis are not my enemy either. No Iraqi ever did nothing to me.

8. If a democrat ever released something like this
there would be hell to pay. Every pundit would be declaring the democrat a traitor. Every news show, every newspaper, and every news magazine would be announcing that the democrat compromised military security by revealing our troop locations.

But because a republican did it, the media (except for KO) are going to ignore it.

Liberal media my ass. x(

9. How else is the enemy going to know where to fight us over there?
Otherwise they would follow us home and we would have to fight them over here.

By announcing troop locations, our Glorious Leader and Supreme Commander-in-Chief has once again protected America.

18. "drop bombs"?? Who? The al Qaeda Air Force?

Two of the oldest rules of warfare are (1) know the position and condition of your own forces, and (2) know the position and condition of the enemy's forces. The importance of these rules cannot be overstated. This is largely why guerilla warfare and Fabian tactics are so effective in asymmetrical conflict against a superior force. This is why a foreign Army is at a serious disadvantage - it's almost impossible to keep their location and condition secret when they cannot 'disappear' into the civilian population.

20. No no, fearless genius leader McPrez thought of all this already
That's why the map was PURPOSELY labled with FAKE locations. To throw the enemy off, see? So we can fight em there, instead of on the REAL X's.

McPrezident thinks of everything. He so smart.

:eyes:

Do I sound patriotic enough yet?

Is this the Geraldo moment from Dubya, revealing contemporary US positions on the ground in Iraq? Dubya included troop position maps of Baghdad in his Friday April 20 speech to the World Affairs Council of East Grand Rapids.

Paragraph 15 of the WH press release, at http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/04/20070420-6.html , says:

"... we're changing. Part of our strategy change, part of the new mission in Baghdad is for American troops to live and work side by side with Iraqi forces at small neighborhood posts called joint security stations. You can see from this map, there are now more than two dozen joint security stations located throughout Baghdad; more are planned. From these stations, Iraqi and American forces work together to clear out and then secure neighborhoods -- all aimed at providing security for the people of Baghdad. If a heavy fight breaks out, our forces will step in, and Iraqi forces learn valuable skills from American troops; they'll fight shoulder to shoulder with the finest military every assembled.

By living in Baghdad neighborhoods, American forces get to know the culture and concerns of local residents. Equally important, the local residents get to know them. When Iraqi civilians see a large presence of professional soldiers and police patrolling their streets, they grow in confidence and trust. ..."
