1. A mocha from Timmy's and day spent in the Underground City should keep Torontonians warm.....

:)

BTW, it's not too much warmer 220 miles to the southeast in Detroit.

5. So is Iowa
It is currently minus 8 degrees, and is supposed to get down to minus 17 tonight. That's all before wind chill, which will make it feel like -20 to -30.

10. It is so cold in Chicago
that I just bought groceries, threw them in the back of the truck and when I got home the bananas and tomatoes I purchased were frozen. I never let anything go to waste so I am going to make a tomato/banana slurpie. I will let you know how it tastes.

11. We're a bit colder than that here. About -25C
and headed for -35.

Eve my cousins up near Lloydminster SK are going to have a warmer night of it than we are down here in WI.

12. -8 in Minneapolis and heading for -20 (before windchill)
I didn't catch what's predicted for "up north" though I did see St. Cloud is already down to -17.
