Well there you have it - Rush Limbaugh says there's nothing wrong with HC in America...
Having been released after a determination that there was "nothing wrong", how could Limbaugh arrive at such a conclusion or more to the point: why? Well. It seems to me more than easy for Limbaugh to sidle up to sympathetic medical personnel who've already arrived at the same conclusion even in Hawaii - people wondered why Limbaugh was in Hawaii the same time as Obama without most seeming to know why Limbaugh left so few clues just where he did go. So to say he was just playing golf is like throwing coins down a wishing well

republicans will continue to game the system through the manipulation of offices, services, imagery, media, war and patriotism to fiddle-fuck their way back into power

Through Rush Limbaugh's ego-driven disdain for civil governance & discourse he is able to be seen abusing offices & services. Imo until this changes, or Limbaugh is able to explain his phantasmic pains, or he is able to disclose his relationships with these offices & services he colludes with, this:

Limbaugh couldn't resist a few political comments in the short press conference at the hospital. He said he got the best health treatment in the world "right here in the United States of America."

Is as likely the reason 'why' he was in Hawaii as any

1. One can only hope that his
bill when it arrives is at least 5 times his yearly income. Then he might have a clue as to why the average person with no insurance doesn't head to the hospital when they first feel a twinge of pain.

2. I wonder what could cause a billion dollar medical bill?
He probably had some senators removed from his ass.

28. Having to actually provide
care to Limbaugh. Take that much to get me to think about touching him with 3 sets of gloves on. The stupid might be highly contagious.

4. There isn't anything wrong with health care in the U.S.
It's the delivery system that is all screwed up. Business managers should never be in the position to make medical decisions but that is exactly what the for-profit delivery system does.

14. When I first got health insurance
when I started to work after my husband died, I joined an HMO. Since we only had open enrollment once a year I was stuck. This was back in 1978. SO our HMO started a policy where when you called to make an appointment the CSR would try to diagnose your problem. Tell you to take some ibuprofen or aspirin and go to bed. I said No Thank You...I want an appointment, which usually took about three days to get. Well needless to say at the first open enrollment I dropped out and went to a PPO.

7. It's not health CARE that's the problem, it's access to it.

20. I appreciate what you've said, for a real eye opener, however, people...
should have the opportunity to work a 3rd party follow-up customer/patient satisfaction sample of mega-HMO services. Where just sitting in an ER waiting room waiting to be treated in off-colored ways some people are actually able to access; but to then have the wrong procedures performed, meds prescribed, surgical procedures ill-targeted, or persistently pointed, persnickety, dismissive staff or disregard related as harassment or even socially/racially charged bigotry

It seems to me sometimes, that HC is more than looking through a clear/clean window into a perfect system just humming along with happy professionals & patients waving back out - like a brochure - and we just can't find the door in; or access to it even where the greater portion of HC is adequate for many

One thing is for sure, for Limbaugh, there is no issue as to access. And, perish the thought; but if Limbaugh were to suffer a lingering staphylococcus as the result of a 2' snip of plastic Chinese tubing or a sponge; his new gf will have her opportunity to share her thoughts at the end of a follow-up customer/patient satisfaction questionnaire

18. He's a rich celebrity. He PAID for the best health treatment in the world
Moreover, nothing was wrong with him. He received no treatments, nor did he have any surgery or any other invasive procedure.

So from that point of view, it's easy to claim that you had a good health care experience.

The only thing it proves is that it's POSSIBLE to get the "best health care in the world" in America.

My future brother in law, who is pretty conservative, even wished death upon him this week.

I'm sure his deductible is $0.
