3. The girls got it with their classmates.
Healthy 40 year-old men were not among the top priority classes.

9. 40 year old men were among the highest risk groups.
Critical personnel were also in the highest priority group. I got mine the 2nd week of October because I was deemed critical personnel. I'm pretty sure he's a hell of a lot more critical than I am.

12. Sorry
I'm not a member of the anti-vaccine club. However, I have never had a flu shot and do not foresee myself getting one in the future. I'm fairly sure that, in the past, I've contracted the flu but I got better. :hi:

13. Didn't think you were actually. I haven't had the flu that I remember.
I started getting the flu shot a couple of years ago when some respiratory issues became more common for me.

5. Men in his age group were supposed to wait because they were low risk and the supply was limited.
My wife and kids received the vaccine, but they would not give it to me because I am an adult non-senior male.

People over 65 were the lowest risk group.

8. I thought everyone who did anything regarding the President's health was military
Or at least that was the impression I got from watching the West Wing. There was always some high ranking military doctor who did the President's checkups. I guess it doesn't work that way in real life.

11. She could be Navy in civies
but reality is that they do have some staff that is civies. But since he IS the CiC, he is the responsibility of the Military. And when he leaves office he will have the option of continuing that care with the military. Most Ex Presidents choose not to, and in reality most Presidents do continue their care with their own private doctors as well.

But you can bet he is injured, for example, he will be taken care off at a local trauma center, preferably a military one if that is available.

Way too much inside baseball... I know.

Oh and incidentally that is why Chenney got his care at the Washington Medical Center, at his choice even though as a VEEP he could become CiC in a new york second... and thankfully that did not happen.

Oh and as an aside, you really DO NOT want to get a VIP like this into your hospital, especially your local ER. They pose a security and access nightmare from hell... and yes, been there, done that.
