I'm with Michael Moore on this one. IMO the only real cure is to break the domination of corporate cash on the political system. It's what we need to do first. Both parties now exist to serve the interests of money and corporations and strict new laws on finance loopholes and lobby cash are the only way to restore some kind of balance.

We'll need everybody on board for that particular fight when it comes (and I hope it does for our sake).

In any case the first step is putting the Kool-aid down. I did and it's the hardest thing because it always seems to be free of charge.
