1. I chew through a set of tires every 18 months.

I wish I had to check their expiration dates...

Or do you just put on that many miles? I'd go ballistic and broke if I had to replace tires that often.

There's a code on tires; places like Sears, WalMart, etc. have been known to sell tires over 7 years old as new. Something to consider...

I think ours are about 8 years old but I guess it doesn't matter if you don't use the vehicle very much.
