I will vote for Democratic Candidates!
I no longer send my money to any congressional or presidential candidates. I wanted a public option. I wanted banking reform. I wanted and end to a drain on the treasury over 2 wars. I wanted a return of Habeas Corpus. I wanted and end to illegal wiretaps. I wanted a prosecution for the war crimes committed by the previous administration. I wanted the recognition of Gay marriage and rights. I wanted gays to be able to openly serve our country. I wanted an end to the tax cuts for the rich. I wanted a fair shake for the common man. I wanted and end to the unfair lobbying by corporate fat-cats.

The people in congress and the executive branch have brought nothing but decimation of Hope. I supported them with hours upon hours of campaign efforts, supported them with CASH and I supported them with my vote. Being the yellow dog that I am I will promise that I will vote big or lil D.
We took back the congress in 06. and the whitehouse in 09. Where is my representation?

2. It's amazing this Administration
has pissed off the left, center and independants by caving into the far right Faux News crowd. It's going to be a blood bath next year.

3. Where is your representation? I don't know...?
I think it's good to give money and time to your LOCAL CANDIDATES. Check 'em out...see who else is supporting them..and then decide if they are worth your time and effort and some $$'s.

4. so far
I have backed and contributed to candidates that "SAID" shared my beliefs, they will tell you anything to get elected then do whatever the damn well please til the next go-round, then they make the same trite inane statements again and we believe them and vote them back in or are forced to vote for the lesser of two evils... we supposedly have two parties which give us two candidates to choose from, but they two parties are almost interchangeable , we have the demecons and the republicats but we do not have a party that truly represents the people or the country.

9. I know...same here...I just keep hoping that ONE DAY...it will make a difference...
what else can we do? Many of us have tried everything else we are capable of. I just think we can't let the "system" go to Sarah Palin. But, I understand why others may wonder..."WHY NOT?"

34. for me
After watching * and Raygun with all their bullcrap I guarantee we have better one in their now, and there is nothing on the horizon that holds out more hope than what we have now...I will never vote in such a way as to allow the repugs back in power as they have had...BUT the dems are just caving in to them left and right, big business owns most of them and the ones that are not outright bought and paid for are in it for the power.. and will do anything to get re-elected.

5. My representative is doing his job very well, IMO.
As for the president, he is doing about what I would have expected, which is light years from what we had for eight years prior to that. It's not what I want, but it's a huge improvement.

10. You don't know the background of this poster. Maybe they've been at it for Decades
and are wearing so thin they just can't take it anymore after 20 or 30 years. Maybe they are new to the system and it's worth trying to encourage them. It's not so cool to just assume the poster doesn't have any experience...dontcha think?

7. keep your money in your state. The Prez campaigns suck money from state races....
Obama supposedly finished the Prez race with $30m left over. That could have come in handy at the state level.

Simply a list of goals I would hope most Dems support(not just say they support). A serious attempt to not fold would be appreciated by many. We are not supporting a party to sccomodate the GOP

Screw all the politicians left or right....give to food panties, homeless shelters, etc. You'll be able to see your money going to something you can actually believe in.

And I AM going to send money to help target Democrats who stood with regressive Republicans on all of the issues you mentioned in your OP.

There must be consequences.
