**AWESOME**Jon Stewart Calls Out Bush’s Rhetorical Bull$*#t
Thanks to crooksandliars.com

Video has not hit You Tube yet, but here is the WMV download, and here is the quicktime version.

Bush (addressing the audience) claims Democrats keeping troops in Iraq longer. The next day, Secretary Gates (of Bush's cabinet) announced that he would be extending tours from 12 to 15 months.

For someone who according to fox noise is a comedian, and not a real journalist, he shows more real journalistic integrity than most of the "bubble headed bleach blonds". I just wish more "journalists had what it takes to call Bush out on this kind of crap.

1. that a comedy act is more informative, honest and accurate vs. MSM
describes a, if not THE major problem we face.

I suspect that many americans have been anti-bush and even more anti-neocon for far longer than November, 2006. But except for places like this, people could not get information about really serious issues. BushCo properly emebedded reporters, (thereby controlling access, information, content and end product), they properly banned photos of military corpses, they properly banned video and photos of torture directly caused by Alberto Gonzales and John Yoo's legal fantasies.

By "properly", I am speaking from their perspective, knowing that their long term goal is to destroy democracy and keep the neocon-religious-constant war arm of the GOP in charge of this nation forever.

On the other hand, we deserved what we got for the past 6 yrs, at least, to the extent that we turned tail and ran at the slightest hint of an accusation that we were weak on the war on terra or pro arab, or worse. (While bush ignored Saudi Arabia as the source of most of the problems)

instead of standing up, even as a minority party, to the domestic hegemony concocted and created by BushCo, we kept our powder dry. good move. (sarcasm)
