"Cloistered Halls"
Edited on Wed Dec-02-09 09:03 PM by shadowknows69
Men in cloistered halls they cry
Rally the men! Rally the men!
Hear the eagle’s song and fly
Rally the men!

Follow the bugle calls and die
Rally the men! Rally the men!
In cloistered halls on hills on high
Rally the men!
The eagle’s moral ground is the sky

In cloistered halls ordering the attack
Rally the troops! Rally the troops!
Moving forward by trying to go back
Rally the troops!
Approval numbers still on track
Rally the troops!

Finishing the job, cleaning the mess
USA! USA!
But the Camera is on someone’s dress
USA! USA!
The Empire must continue for the blessed
U S A!
A whole country under duress
USA! USA!
By a war machine that never rests.

Men in cloistered halls they cry
Rally the men! Rally the men!
Today is your “good” day to die
Rally the troops!
To the fields of Afghanistan
USA! USA!
But we can’t give you reasons why.
-S

1. Tough crowd. Kick anyway.
Any anti-war Dems want to help me get out of the negatives at least?

6. I'll try to jazz it up a bit. Was going for more of a 90's grunge redux, war sux thing.

9. I still dig them....what can I say, we're in the minority here!
:D by your screen name I'm guessing you were born in 69 ( could be wrong, could be something else ) but if so, you are the same age as two of my brothers ( I was born in 75 ) and grew up listening to all of this stuff! Still remember when MTV had videos and none of this ridiculous shit I see now! Now THAT stuff was music...back when the only thing I cared about was getting home from school before my brother did before he pirated our Atari 2600

I hate these days.....

10. Pong represent baby!
Actually I listened to a lot of 60's and 70's when I was supposed to be listening to the Human League and hair bands, but I loved being around for the birth of MTV.

11. I was a bit late for Pong, I believe....I did witness the greatness of the David Crane era
and all that followed. Not all of the 80s were bad...
