No more concessions on HCR: If Lieberman & Lincoln want to filibuster--Let them!

Let them join the Republicans and filibuster Health Care Reform. Let the American people see who is filibustering reforming the health care system and new regulations on the health care industry. But also keep the senate in session. I don't care if it's Christmas and the Senate is supposed to be adjourned keep the senate in session so that they can keep filibustering. Keep the Senate from doing any business at all and let the American people see who it is tying things up. Don't give in to there threats anymore and don't further weaken the Public Option. Call there bluff and let them filibuster. At least 56 Senate Dems want a public option in HCR. It's time to listen to the majority.

Reconciliation just won't work.

Of course, there is always the "Nuclear Option": changing the rules of the Senate. But I don't think Reid would have the stomach to try that.

Saying "let 'em filibuster!" is great theater, but does it get a bill passed? Are people who say this just assuming that the obstructionists will fold in a few days and a bill will get passed?
