Teabagger Spokesman :"We are very much aware that Congress
supports the Big Corporations and Institutions on the backs
the Working class and poor."

This particular spokesman was a younger more articulate member.
He was explaining that the Teabaggers have gone home and he is
organizing them by having local members form groups in their
hometown. He is hoping to get training for them to run in
local elections and work their way up.

The quote at top of post does not sound like usual RW diatribe.
In fact, it does not sound Republican.

Since I am Liberal I hear things that perk up a liberal's ears,
I guess.

We (Our Party) needs to do something to tamp down this anger out
there. Republicans are expert at exploiting outrage and anger.

1. Someone is trying to get liberals to join in their idiot fest.

No dice Johnny sweetcakes.

I'm pissed but your Republican astroturf isn't the solution...it's part of the problem.

2. On the other hand, we could suggest he study the democratic platform...
and he may find he actually is just on standing with the wrong group of people. Time for us to wrap our arms around these angries and show them the way.

3. Of course, I have no idea why that particular teabagger suddenly said something intelligent, but
I do know that a lot of these pissed-off people should be "our people" and they have every right to be pissed. Aren't we all?

Of course, someone was there to "explain things" to these folks when they were looking for someone to be pissed AT for their factory closing, their kids not being able to afford college, their health insurance being cancelled---all while Wall Street bonuses and Corporate America's profits set new records. That "someone" was Rush and Hannity and O'Reilly and---the list goes on.

These people should be Democrats. That they aren't is at least partially the fault of a party that thought that labor unions and the Fairness Doctrine were "irrelevant". Many of the Teabaggers are our prodigal sons and daughters and the future success of our party will depend, in large measure, on whether we can find a way to reconcile with them.
