Are Tea Baggers Neo-Cons, Paleo-Cons, or Ron Paulites?
The Republican Party has basically three extremes:

1) The George Bush Neo-Con wing. Police State enforcers, huge advocates of getting involved in wars and foreign affairs. They bow only to Israel.

2) The Pat Buchanan/Robert Novak Paleo-Cons and Ron Paul/Bob Barr Paleo-Libertarians. I'm going to lump them both together, because they are very similar. Both are anti-tax, anti New World Order, anti-Globalist, and protectionist America Firsters. While both support civil liberties more than Neo-Cons, Ron Paulites are more likely to make it their main theme, and more likely conspiracy theorists. Buchananites stress religion and "family values" more. Both want out of the UN and to abolish the IRS, and both despise Neo-Cons even more than we do. :)

So what are the Tea Baggers? While many call them Neo-Cons, I have to disagree. I think they pretty much all bow to Ron Paul and his wing, with such an anti-Tax theme. Opinions?

6. How does that differ from the Paultards
btw, Ron Paul is a lifelong republican, and followers of his fall into that part of the spectrum, ie RIGHT WING.

4. They're a hodgepodge of Bush's 20%ers and Ron Paul morons.
They aren't united around anything. They're just an angry, unfocused blob of shit.

Who don't feel represented by their elected officials.

In other words, they are to the republicans what a lot of people on DU are to the democrats.

And one thing I will say for them: they care enough to get involved. Which is more than most Americans can say.

11. So you're saying they're Neo-Cons
Because as crazy as they are, Ron Paul and his followers are highly anti-fascist. In fact, they seem to think everything is a conspiracy to get a fascist One World New World Order government.

17. Paulites hide under the guise of Libertarianism but they are truly Authoritarian instead.
Some of the most Authoratarian whacks in our country are Teabaggers.
