Perhaps tomorrow our Party can exorcise the demon...?
Edited on Sat Nov-07-09 01:25 AM by kentuck
...that has contaminated the Party since the days of Reagan. Once they see they are not going to be struck dead and that the right-wingers have no control over them whatsoever, they may attempt to stand up straight and shed these demons once and for all. If they can pass health care, it may be the best thing to happen to our Party and our country in a very long time? Maybe?

1. If they passed either HR676 or the REAL Public Option that Howard Dean was talking about
Then that might indeed be the case. But if all they can pass is national Romneycare, then that's not excorcism, that's inviting in a whole new legion of demons. :evilfrown:

3. Agree. And worse as they insert disrespect for half the population into their bill
by bowing to the wishes of the 40 anti-choicers.

2. Why do you think tthe Republicans are fighting so hard?
Did you see the "hate rally" they held?
Looked quite desperate to me!
and those commercials! Reminds me of when they ran those Rev. Wright commercials
at the 11th hour.....right before Barack Obama won the election!

4. I'm not holding my breath
too many disappointments.

Now that does not mean I am not a pest but... I ain't gonna hold my breath until the vote is actually over and we know what was passed.
