Bullet strikes Lou Dobbs house.

According to CNN, a bullet struck Lou Dobbs house today. The incident happened after weeks of threats, and is being investigated to see if it was intentional or a "stray".

(I can't stand Loub Dobbs, but I certainly wouldn't want to see anything bad happen to him or his family.)

I used to live by the LA river... every New Year's Day, like a ritual, we'd climb to the roof and pull slugs out... people would go down into the river and shoot off guns at midnight.

What goes up, must come down... idiots who shoot guns into the air don't get the basic physics... or they don't care. Scary thought, but the latter is probably closer to the truth.

Funny thing is, my cousins who live in rural Iowa have the same thing happen. The idiocracy is thick.

My new neighborhood has gone to hell what with all the foreclosures... I think my neighborhood was the one-click up that people went to when they bought with those lovely BushCo incentives. Now there are many empty places, bank owned, and up for gangster grabs. Helicopters at all hours... that's not so bad, but when you hear people run past your bedroom window in the middle of the night, then you hear gunshots like they're whizzing past said window, it gets a little tense.

A stray bullet maybe? I mean, you're not going to do much damage shooting a house. The news said it didn't even penetrate the siding, so it must have been from some distance away. It's hunting season in that area apparently. When there's hunting going on, people aren't even safe inside their houses, some idiot is always mistaking a lady in her own yard for a deer or something.
