2. The U.S. economy moved on Home Equity spending
and now no one can sell their existing home to buy a different home with prices continuing decline.

There is so much more shit in the pipeline to come.

Total Bubble.

4. If I understand this correctly, this is a bubble before
the bottom really drops out.

I hope that's wrong.

6. Other
It's called a printing press, and destruction of the dollar. The big banks are buying stocks with your TARP and bailout money, while the FED is devaluating the dollar by printing so much. The weak dollar causes commodity prices to rise.

Daytraders are like a knat on a buffalo's ass. It took billions to make the market go from the March lows to 10,000.

9. Doesn't a bubble occur when people throw caution to the wind?
I don't think that is the environment we're in at this time. Maybe later, but certainly not now.

11. it seems to me that a lot of the exuberance in the media is aimed at getting people xmas shopping.
they want people to think that the land of milk and honey is just over this next rainbow, so come-on, use whatever credit or cash you can scrape together to make this a joyeux noel for all.

13. I'm broke, but it's goin' up!
It has been steadily going up.

P.S. I had to move into another office. Please tell your wife, Sparkly, that I found a Yamaha keyboard and some kind of amplifier in the closet! I spoke to the music director.

I used to play piano! I don't have time to practice at work...we'll see what happens!

Hug to you and Sparkly-->>>

15. Sparkly's name this week is "Sniffly" .... she has yet to buid up her autmnal kidimmunity!
We get some bug or other this time of year, every year. I contend little kids should be dipped in disinfectant prior to returning for lessons. At least some Purell inside the nostrils of their drippy, snotty noses.

:hi:

14. ponzi, enabled by smoke and mirrors
for the purpose of profit taking.

in other words, business as usual.

wall street should be outlawed.

why actually SAVE for something, when, if you can accumulate a certain amount, buy some "shares" (paper), then hope that the hype for those same shares makes other people want them, which runs up the value, then you sell and get out before it "corrects". if you have a lot of money to do that with, it REALLY pays off, as long as you get out before the correction. (the big money always seems to know when that is going to happen... go figure!) for there to be winners, there always has to be losers.

such is american greed. i want no part of it. i will save my little bit, and i know it will be there.
