In Fairness, Obama's Acceptance speech is quite good
And strikes the right tone --> http://www.salon.com/politics/war_room/2009/10/09/obama_nobel/index.html

Maybe if he lives up to his rhetoric, he will actually earn the honor that has been bestowed upon him. We can only hope.

3. That's an odd response
But take this bit --> And we must all do our part to resolve those conflicts that have caused so much pain and hardship over so many years, and that effort must include an unwavering commitment that finally realizes that the rights of all Israelis and Palestinians to live in peace and security in nations of their own. If he makes real strides there that would certainly be positive.

And even as we strive to seek a world in which conflicts are resolved peacefully and prosperity is widely shared, we have to confront the world as we know it today. I am the Commander-in-Chief of a country that's responsible for ending a war and working in another theater to confront a ruthless adversary that directly threatens the American people and our allies.Hopefully, that means ending the Iraq war (which he doesn't really seem to be moving towards doing). As for Afghanistan, I'm not sure we can leave there right off, but obviously that's the direction we should be going - building a strong and stable Afghanistan and then leaving.

2. Hope is what he is built on
Just like Peace, you have to give hope a chance.
