Obama's Nobel: Consider This
If a third world country, say Burma or Nigeria, had been ruled for 8 years by a regime that rolled back civil liberties, started 2 wars and threatened to start more, the leader of a grassroots movement that peacefully toppled that regime would get the Peace Prize, and no one would question it's appropriateness.

1. Not to mention Mr. Obama's efforts to control the proliferation
of nuclear bombs.

6. Except if the new regime continued both wars and even
expanded one, then allowed the rich and powerful to cause it's people to lose their, jobs, housing and dignity by the millions and did nothing in response? What would we say then? What if they talked a good game but played like crap? What if after everything, with a wink and a nod they continued MOST of the policies of the past, how would you feel then?

I'm sure this prize means so much to the homeless and the jobless in America.

9. Yes, but only if
the new leader actually halted the wars started by their predecessor.

Every day more people in Iraq and Afghanistan get killed. War is now officially peace.
