Strip Club Offers Free Flu Shots - Senior Citizens Get Free Lunch
Strip Club Offers Free Flu Shots
Senior Citizens Get Free Lunch

CASSELBERRY, Fla. -- Rachel's Adult Night Club in Casselberry is giving out free flu shots to city residents.

It is the sixth year in a row the club has held the promotion.

Residents get free vaccines from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and senior citizens get free lunch.

Non-Casselberry residents can also get flu shots, but they'll have to pay $30.

The jokes, they write themselves.

1. You can't argue with success I suppose.
Although it would be nice if us girls had a counterpart to this program.

9. Every strip club I've been too (which is quite a few) women must be escorted by a man for entry
No single women going in along at a club where women dance.

10. I have neither seen nor heard of such a policy.
Edited on Tue Sep-22-09 03:23 PM by Lance_Boyle
Granted, I'm not a strip club aficionado, but I've been to one or five of 'em. No such policies in my experience. I wonder how they'd justify it?

12. I can attest...
...the club I went to had no problem with me and my other GFs coming in. Getting them to leave us alone was the hard part. We were there to support a friend making her debut and they kept trying to get some others of us up on the stage with here.

14. Maybe it's just the policy around here
And these were the higher end establishments, but none of the clubs I've been to in Dallas will allow single girls in. One time I got there after the guys did and had to get the valet to go in and grab one of them, and they were just sitting right inside at the bar. Very annoying, I could almost point them out and the door girls wouldn't let me pass. :eyes:

I'm not sure why that's their policy, I mean, the girls don't have a problem dancing for other women, I had them say "I'm not into women, and I just said, that's okay." lol

19. two main reasons
Single women coming in to solicit customers for sex (yes, it happens). And single women coming in in search of husband/boyfriend/whatever to drag them out and generally cause a scene. For the most part, women tend to thwart business.

18. generally true
Although plenty of low end clubs don't care. Two reasons for this... single women coming in to solicit customers for sex (yes, it happens), and single women coming in in search of husband/boyfriend/whatever to drag them out and genrally cause a scene. I'd much prefer the women stayed away whether accompanied by a man or not. Generally, they tend to thwart business. Certainly, there are plenty of women that tip, have a good time, don't fraternize with the male customers and don't cause any problems, but they tend to be rare.

13. Why would a straight woman want to go?
Seriously... it's not an alternative for heterosexual women.

That's what the poster meant by an alternative.

I wouldn't care so much about strip clubs if women were offered "women" clubs in many towns that have several "gentleman's" clubs. It's rather sexist to assume we wouldn't go (I wouldn't now that I'm married and I wouldn't want him going to one - no hypocrisy on my brow - but I might have when I was single).

25. Do you think you'll always understand everyone's motivations?
I have straight female friends who think "its fun" to go to strip clubs. It doesn't have to be comprehensible to you.

Back to the point, there's nothing keeping someone who wants the free flu shot from going to the strip club.

21. for the most part they go to keep an eye on their men
Bugs the crap out of me. The men who drag in their wives/girlfriends to use as a shield and an excuse to not spend any money bug me a lot more though.

I think it's sexist.

(And, yes, I know you work at one, but your arguments haven't changed my mind one bit).

20. it's a strip club - nothing is free
You want free, go to a meat market club. I'm sick to death of customers that think anything could or should be had from us for free.

calm down. Read the title, it was a joke. Question for you though. Why display the flag Fred Phelps? He flies the American Flag upside down 24/7 with an upside down Canadian flag flying above it.
