Mass. House approves bill letting governor name interim successor to late Sen. Edward Kennedy.


Perhaps Mike Dukakis will go to Washington 20 years after his 8-point presidential election loss. More as we hear

1. The MA Senate Repukes are delay the vote in the Senate
But the bill will probably pass there some time next week. I'd love to see us have a Senator Dukakis, even if it's only a few months.

2. Me, too! I'm hopeful this interim appt. will be rammed through. We
need a progressive vote on health care, and Dukakis fits the bill.
