Poll question: Liars and Teabaggers and Astroturfers, Oh My!!
Have recent events changed your attitude, your media sources or your engagement with politics?

The usual level of lies and endless supply of the lying liars who tell them (thanks Senator Franken!!) is the foundation for a new level of national insanity: the Teabagger tantrums and the Astroturf assaults on the Town Hall meetings on national health care.

Tired of lies? Tired of fighting lies? Tired of lying liars? Tired of haters and yelling yellers?

Ted Kennedy's death, another opportunity to reflect on who we are, who we want to be and how much time we have.

Are you feeling the need for change in how you attend/respond to the mad level of politics in this country?

What do you think is needed to improve the situation? What can we do about it?

1. The ignorant will always be. Nothing can fix it.

3. People are still reeling from the Internet...
We've learned more in a few years of talking amongst ourselves that in thousands of years of proclamations, public postings, press releases, church sermons and lately, newspapers or TV.

The powers that be are really uncomfortable with this. They can't count on us hanging on to every word they pass down.

We still have to learn to read between the lines, separate wheat from chaff and develop a sense of critical thinking, but the rate of progress is much faster.
