For D.C. locals, here's an opportunity to pay your respects to Sen. Kennedy tomorrow (Saturday)

Dear xxxxxxx,

Senator Kennedy served 47 years in the United States Senate and loved each and every day he spent there, especially the people who are its heart and soul.

The family of Senator Kennedy would like to invite members of the public to join us on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. on the East Front Lawn of the Senate.

The Senator's motorcade will stop briefly at the Senate so that current and former staff, those with whom the Senator worked during his time in Washington, and those whose lives have been touched by the Senator can bid a final farewell.

Additional details, including a map of the motorcade route through D.C., will be posted to www.tedkennedy.org/washington and to our Twitter feed, www.twitter.com/kennedynews, throughout the weekend.
