WTF is up with the anti-Obama ads on the main page?

I realize that google ads pay the bills here, but is there perhaps a way for admins to refuse the obviously unwanted ones? 2 out of 3 here are right-wing swill.

i seem to remember there isn't anything they can do--they don't pick and choose the ads.

pity.

people will tell you to donate so you don't have to see them--i'm not seeing them. however, it's really a shame that there are some nasty ones like you have a screen shot of. probably makes people (who just come here, are not regulars or not signed up) think WTF?

5. Those are Google Adwords ads

Their display is based on keywords that the advertisers make bids on. When a site mentions the name Obama as often as this one, it's no surprise the Google ads reflect the popularity of his name here.

For as little as a few dollars, you can hide them for a whole year.
