Now what?

Sarcastic for me, but for some reason, seems to be a genuine roadblock.

1. I, on the other hand, don't much
give a shit about anyone.

But then, I'm old and bitter....

2. But you do love attention, I'll give you that.
At least as much as your generic username affords on an anonymous message board, anywy.

6. I don't often personally feel that way, but these intergenerational
conversations brought it to my attention as a stump our culture is stuck upon.

7. Too bad for you. But, you needn't continue in this.
Contact your local Democratic Party organization and volunteer your time, then get involved on a regular basis. You'll meet people of all ages with whom you have something in common. The more you're involved, the less you'll have these negative associations, I guarantee.

There's plenty to do, and plenty of people to help you do it. Why mope around in the background. Get involved and you'll get over it.

11. I'm sorry I wasn't clearer in my OP, but I don't see this as a problem I have.
It is a larger cultural issue, I think.

12. I'm sorry too. I've wasted my time once again, I see.
Never mind. Perhaps someone will get something from my post.

Please be more careful in your postings. Words mean things, as someone said somewhere, sometime.

13. I think your advice makes sense and is valuable.
I just wanted to clarify that it is not my position.

8. "He's a real nowhere man, sitting in his nowhere land, making all his nowhere plans ...
... for nobody."

Some obscure guy wrote that once, maybe 40 years ago.

10. Yeah; I prefer his post-illusionment period.
The dream is over,
What can I say?
The dream is over,
Yesterday,
I was dreamweaver,
But now I'm reborn,
I was the walrus,
But now I'm John,
And so dear friends,
You just have to carry on,
The dream is over.

Thank you for changing your sig line; the "2 barrels to paradise" comment was beyond the pale.
