Insulting your customer base is not a smart thing to do. It is a fireable offense in most companies.

The Whole Foods board of directors should fire his ass. But we all know they're either cowards or jackasses - not worth a bucket of warm spit.

1. I quit Whole Paycheck several years ago -

there was no way I could justify paying their prices, although we can afford it. There was just something obscene about that two-dollar orange. It became precious, far too precious for me.

And a lot of what they were peddling was crap, as the CEO has previously pointed out.

I suspect, in these times of cutting back and economizing, that Whole Paycheck is going to undergo some serious changes. Real serious changes....................................

2. top chef pimps whole food a lot

they are probably a sponsoer since that is where the chefs are always shown going to shop for their challenges. they make it very prominent.

i find WF obscenely overpriced. i don't really care what mackey, as an individual thinks politically, though. i don't shop there (been there 3 times iirc) merely bacause the price is absurd. im also really not that interested in organics. i want GOOD cheap produce. whether it is organic or not is not as important to me. i grow much of my own produce as well
