The top rated diary on Kos - Dem on Dem anger and frustration

A Diary by Angry Mouse called . . . oh, well, you'll figure it out.

But now? Now you have to take your marching orders from the idiots who literally think "end of life care" means "kill granny"? Are you fucking kidding me? Do you not realize that this ridiculous capitulation gives them all the power and further motivation they need to keep calling you with death threats, vandalizing your offices, and screaming in your faces?

Stop pretending the opposition has valid points to make. It doesn't. Stop pretending that their lies and distortion have any place in this discussion. They don't. Stop acting as if continued sacrifices to the screamers will end with a bipartisan bill. It won't.

I found myself nodding in agreement the whole way through.

1. What a crock.

I have neither the energy nor the inclination to take a position in the circle-jerk firing squad alongside anyone who delivers this nonsense.

So yes, the Democrats are better than the Republicans.

But not by much.

While the blogger is correct that the repugs are fucking crazy lying scumbags, if "reform" fails, it will be because of "purity progressive" shit like this as much as anything else.

2. I have to say "mouse" hits many sore points
Im sure the defenders will race in to obfuscate his words, or demean anyone who truly desires real progressive policies (oh look, its already started...), but they prove themselves to be so concerned about party that they lose sight of the ideals they once were in favor of.........

........much as the so called "Democrats" we elected to enact real reforms have lost sight of the ideals that once drove them into politics in the first place.

Thanks for the link.

4. No no no! We need two conservative parties in the USA
Let's not be too hard on the Conservadems that can't even get behind the moderate pre-compromised public option! Only 70% of the country supports it!

Any democrat who votes against the public option needs to be drum out of the party. It's time to clean house.
