Has anyone considered that the Norquist crowd is trying to drown
Medicaire in their gold plated bathtub as part of this healthcare rabble rousing too? I've had this occur to me more than once. For years now we have been hearing Rs call for eliminating "entitlements" and we know that government insurance progams, such as SS, are among their list of programs which they consider entitlements. What a coup that would be to keep the extortion racket of the healthcare corporate machine running as usual while denigrating "entitlements" and making certain that they may be eliminated at some time in the future--like when they pick up the 40+ seats they claim they will in the next election.

1. This is the precise reason we must have the public option.
No Public Option or having a Co-op in stead means Norquist Group
wins another one and we grow closer to ending entitlements.

It is just that simple.

Why do you think the GOP is so strongly opposed to Public Option???
