town hall disruptors. who are they?
I'm not around people like that, i've never met them.

who are they? what are their demographics?

are they all racists?

some level of critical thinking is needed to get through day-to-day life. why aren't they applying that thinking to common-sense analysis of how government should work?

Can someone offer some psychological profiles of these people?

No snide comments please, I really want to understand them.

Who once was a smart and thoughtful person, until she married a fundy and was forced to become subservient to him and home school her eight kids that she can't afford because her husband can't find a job. I blame the fundy "god", whomever that may be.

2. i'm sorry to hear that.
Sounds like she has low self-esteem and low self-confidence. People like her are quite susceptible to those irrational influences. :(

3. They are white, middle age, middle to lower class. They know that

Hispanics and blacks are gaining in political power and numbers. They see that as a threat to their dominance. they also see that their kids are not following in their racist footsteps.

Obama scares them because he undermines the stereotype they have spread for hundreds of years.

4. Evidently, their "Freedom of Speech" trumps my right
to attend a meeting to learn more about the health care plan before deciding. I don't believe them all to be racists, nor idiots. Some are genuinely afraid of this because their only understanding is what the Fox clowns tell them.

Others are there just to disrupt anything the Democratic party puts forward. I would guess a few are even there "undercover", actually hoping to learn something, but can't bring themselves to admit it to family and friends.

In the end, none of these folks are doing their cause any favors. They are alienating the undecideds. It is going to backfire on them big time.

5. I have lived in this community 20 years
I am surrounded by these people.
there's a man that thinks Obama is garnishing his paycheck for an unpaid medical bill.
there's a woman who believes Obama is part of a Muslim conspiracy to kill all Christains.

there are families locked and loaded in preparation for the showdown they see coming.

there's a man who wants me to accept Jesus as my lord and savior RIGHT NOW because Obama is the antichrist and these are end days.

these are working class people with children and grandchildren in some cases. a psychological profile? they go to church, and are inspired by the clergy. they look "normal". they are very white.

the anxiety level is sky high here since Obama's election.
they loved george and his war.
the appliance repair guy cried at my kitchen table about the election. he's a Vietnam vet.

IMHO, there is no such thing here as critical thinking. They gladly pay for bombs, we are number one because we have the most weapons.
