Republicans love money, so ask them why they want to pay twice as much for healthcare
as the rest of the world. It would be different if we had the best healthcare system in the world, with everyone covered, and all the other nations of the world want what we have, but we don't. We rank #37 in the world in healthcare with 46 million without insurance and millions more under-insured and thousands put through bankruptcy because of medical bills. Plus, the rest of the world does not want to have anything to do with our healthcare system.

Republicans love money, so why do they so cheerfully agree to line the coffers of the private insurance companies?

Plus, what fool honestly believes that we are not already paying billions for the uninsured who show up at the ER for their healthcare with the incredible costs of ER medical care rather than seeking preventative care from a primary healthcare physician? I have a Republican friend who recently retired from a hospital and she knows the costs of the uninsured for the hospital and that they pass that cost on, raising the cost of healthcare for everyone.

What about medical bankruptcies? What fool believes that society as a whole does not pay a price for the thousands who need to file bankruptcy because of overwhelming medical bills? Those costs are also passed on.

It is false to believe that the money required for healthcare reform is all extra to be added onto the current cost of healthcare. There are billions of dollars to be saved that can be subtracted from the cost of healthcare reform.

2. Yes, they love money, but they love being in the "I Got Mine" club
too. If everybody got decent health care, how to differentiate the "lazy welfare bums" from deserving hard-working people such as themselves? Bootstraps, and all that. Plus, they can't stomach the though that any of their money will be used to cover all those useless eaters. :sarcasm:

5. And they're the very definition of penny-smart, pound-foolish.
They're greedy and shortsighted.
