Write Congress. There is a simple solution for Healthcare Reform - The Universal Plan
The Universal Plan is simple. Whatever Congress passes for us applies to everyone in the federal government INCLUDING members of Congress. One plan for everyone. If it is good enough for us, it is good enough for them. No sweetheart plans. The abandoned mother of three in a trailer gets the same plan as President Obama. The Boehner gets the same plan as the 20 year old college student. If they want to fight about "making concessions", that makes it easy since all they care about are their own interests anyway.

almost every democrat on the committee voted against it.

Why?

I don't know, but it definately gave me pause.
