Okay, reasearchers. Want to help prove that the Doggett protesters were astroturfers?
From the http://www.statesman.com/search/content/news/stories/local/2009/08/03/0803roundup.html">Austin American-Statesman:

"The folks there thought their voices weren't being heard," said Kathy Acosta, a Bastrop resident who attended the meeting at Randalls and another one later that day in her hometown. "They were angry, but they were respectful. There wasn't any violence."

I couldn't find amything about a Kathy Acosta in Bastrop, not even a phone listing.

But Google did lead me to a Kathy Acosta who has worked for at least the past 17 years at San Antonio based http://www.kci1.com/">Kinetic Concepts Inc.

"Kinetic Concepts manufactures and markets therapeutic hospital beds and medical devices that help correct circulatory problems, pulmonary complications and other medical conditions in patients who are immobilized."

I think she works in the product liability division.

Melvin A. Millsap was the director of benefits and risk management at KCI. He died and she left a nice comment in his http://porterloring.lifefiles.com/registryGuestbookView.php?i_memorialid=1027610237&page=6&o=1
">memorial guest book about what a wonderful boss he was.

Interestingly enough, the liability division operated out of Cayman and had a close relationship with AIG.

Of course, the protester interviewed by the Statesman could be a completely different Kathy Acosta. Or maybe Ms. Acosta is just a concerned citizen who has coincidentally been employed by a health related industry that profits off of sick people for the last 20 years? Or quite possibly, this Ms. Acosta has another agenda more directly linked to her own personal financial fortunes...

Grass has to actually be born and I want proof that it was or I will just assume it's astroturf.
