The Health Insurance Industry: A Pre-Existing Condition

The message I'm getting from Washington, from all but the most progressive of legislators, is clear: America doesn't qualify for Single Payer because of a pre-existing condition. That condition is a massive, parasitical, malignant insurance industry which preys on our illnesses and has infiltrated all of our vital organizations.

The Public Option is merely a treatment to hold this illness at bay, to keep it from spreading further. When will we be ready to finally cure this festering malady?
