One of many reasons why I despise Republicans..

When the cash for clunkers was up for debate.. I heard a few Republicans say it was a stupid idea.. no one would use it.. it was just to appease car makers.. NOW the program is SO successful it has run thru its 1 billion dollar budget in less than 2 weeks.. soo now many are trying to find more cash to continue this.. WHAT do republicans say???

House Minority Leader John Boehner of Ohio said lawmakers were working to bring the measure to the House floor on Friday but it was unclear how many Republicans would support on the plan. "There are a lot of questions about how the administration administered this program. If they can't handle something as simple as this, how would we handle health care?" Boehner told The Associated Press.

The plan is a HUGE success.. the only problem was you stupid idiots did not allow it to be properly funded!!!

8. Basically, if the car you drive meets certain requirements you can
get a $4500 trade in at the dealer of your choice for a new (presumably more fuel efficient) vehicle. It gets oil-belching, gas guzzling vehicles off the road, puts new vehicles on the road which is good for the dealerships and the auto companies and the entire workforce that supports them, thus stimulating the economy at the grass-roots level. The dealers make the sales, then are reimbursed by the government for the $4500 trade in.

They expected the 'cash for clunkers' to run until November - there were so many takers (people who have put off buying a new vehicle for years because of the state of the economy) that it ran through its funding in a week.

2. I have said this many times before:
It strikes me that republicans display the critical thinking skills of a young child, say a 2nd grader. The ones that don't fall into that category simply patronize the other republicans that do.

4. Boehner is stupid. He opposed the funding at the beginning. Now he wants to
increase funding!

5. I have a strong general dislike of anyone republican because
of their world outlook. "I have mine, so screw you." Or, "I could be rich, too, if only you liberals would/wouldn't _________" (fill in the blanks). It is the combination of greed, lack of empathy, and inability to think.

6. More "framing" on their part.
I'm sure they have operatives at the ready to frame any issue or policy in the most negative light no matter it turns out.

It's been said before and truthfully every time that the Guardians Of Privilege party would demonize the person who came up with a cure for cancer as anti-doctor, anti-insurance.Their present stance on most issues is a result of having no defensible positions of their own. They have to be negative.

7. Downright depressing. I'm not strong enough to fight off my faulty brain chemistry and the Repukes.
I might need to move to France.

Honestly, I wonder if that is feasible. I am so sick of this country letting these moranic repukes and their soulless, freakish lack of logic I am getting so stressed that my health is suffering--bipolar is hard to treat anyway, but stress can really make it worse.

Sorry, I'm rambling, but it helps a tiny bit to get it out.
